Church hurt is not a new phenomenon —we see it all through church history. We see it all around the world in all types of churches, styles and traditions. The impact of church hurt cannot be underestimated... however the Church that Jesus started is a place where we carry one another’s burdens, where we stand alongside one another in good times and bad, where we literally 'one another' one another. Community can be where we experience the deepest hurt, but also where find the deepest healing.

This October, we celebrate 45 years since the founding of Lifecentral Church! In this episode of The Lifecentral Podcast, Debs sits down with Leon and Allison to look back on the mission, history and the incredible things that God has done over the last 45 years.

When biblical replaces Christ-like we have missed it! The Church is a movement - we need to make sure that it doesn't get stuck and becomes just a monument. For the movement to keep on moving we need more contributors than commentators, and the best investment of our time outside of our families is the local church that’s outward facing.

Sometimes church can get a little weird! When the church goes off-track and off-mission, things go wrong; but when the church is on-track and on-mission that’s a totally different story. Can you devote one thing towards Jesus this season?

Everyone has an opinion about what Church is... Irrelevant? Incomprehensible? Institutional? We believe the Church is unstoppable —an outward facing, multicultural, multi generational, multiplying movement. When we lose sense of this, we lose who we are and who we were meant to be! How can we adopt the tone, posture and approach of Jesus?

How good are you at ignoring? We all have times when we ignore others, when we just don’t want to hear what they have to say, or we're distracted, or aren’t sure we care about their opinion.
